1.       PUBLIC HEARING ON PETITION FOR FORMATION OF THE JOSEPHINE COMMUNITY LIBRARY DISTRICT

a.       Consideration of Order No. 2014-023; In the Matter of Referring to Josephine County Voters at the November 4, 2014 General Election a Measure on Formation of a Library Special District Organized under ORS 357.216 to 357.286; Establishing the District Name:  Josephine Community Library District; Providing for an Election to Form the District and Authorize a Permanent Rate Limit for Operating Taxes for the District                    

2.       ADMINISTRATIVE ACTION(S) IN CONSIDERATION OF:

a.       Approval of Order 2014-024 In the Matter of Adopting the Animal Response Plan for Josephine County

b.       Approval of Contracts with LTM, Inc. dba Knife River Materials for the Merlin Road/Upper River Road Pavement Preservation Project – Project No. 240002

c.        Approval of Economic Development Request: Small Business Development Centers, $35,000

d.       Approval of Addendum to Jail Services Contract

e.        Approval of Order No. 2014-025; In the Matter of Authorization of the Sale of County Land located in North Valley Industrial Park; and Quitclaim Deed; and Related Sales Documents

3.       REQUESTS/COMMENTS FROM CITIZENS:  (Each person will be given three (3) minutes to speak)

4.       APPROVAL OF CONSENT CALENDAR:

a.       Minutes (Draft minutes are available for viewing in the Board’s Office)

b.       Software Service Agreement (Cost to County approx. $50,000 thru 6/30/18)

c.        Contract for Personal Services with Options for Southern Oregon (Cost to County $106,100 thru 6/30/15)

d.       Equipment Reserve Request: Public Works Trucks $78,432

e.        Property Reserve Request: Window Upgrade $95,000

5.       OTHER:  (ORS.192.640(1) “. . .notice shall include a list of the principal subjects anticipated to be considered at the meeting, but this requirement shall not limit the ability of a governing body to consider additional subjects.”)

The Board requests that you follow the rules and procedures for meetings as described in ORDINANCE 92-27, SECTION 7

 

Meetings shall at all times be orderly and respectful.  When permitted, each person shall be given three (3) minutes to speak or such other longer time as may be allowed by the presiding officer.  No person shall be heard until he or she states their name and address for the record. The presiding officer may terminate the meeting when necessary or refuse to recognize anyone who:

a.   Is disorderly, abusive or disruptive;

b.   Takes part in or encourages audience demonstrations, such as applause, cheering, display of signs, shouting or other conduct disruptive of the meeting;

c.   Speaks without first receiving recognition from the presiding officer and stating his or her full name and residential address (when requested); or

d.     Presents irrelevant, immaterial or repetitious comments.
