DETAILS: On March 13, 2017 at about 5:54 PM Deputies from the Josephine County Sheriff’s Office contacted 47 year old Daniel James Gundmundson in the city limits of Cave Junction in regards to a trespass at a local business.  During this contact, Gundmundson was found to be in possession of multiple credit/debit cards, personal documents, and mail, which did not belong to him.
 
A subsequent investigation led to the discovery of multiple victims of Identity and Mail Theft for which Gundmundson was responsible for.
 
Gundmundson was arrested and lodged at the Josephine County Jail on 17 counts of Identity Theft, 1 count of Mail Theft, and 1 Count of Theft II.  At this point, there have been 14 victims identified.  This investigation is ongoing.
