Josephine County Parks has the following free locations for those not wanting to incur a day use fee: Matson Park & Hog Creek Boat Ramp.
Service Connected Disabled Veteran Discount:
If you are a service connected disabled veteran living in Josephine County you are eligible to receive one affixed pass at no charge. An additional pass for the same household is regular price. Only one discount applies per household. Give our office a call at (541) 474-5285 to learn more about this program or to have your pass mailed to you.
Disabled Parking Permit Discount:
If you have a valid Disabled Person Parking Permit, and live in Josephine County, you are eligible to receive one affixed Annual Day Use Parking pass for $15 (50% off). An additional pass for the same household is regular price.
Only one discount applies per household; Service-Connected Disabled Veterans that are qualified to receive one free pass are not eligible for the Disabled Parking Permit Discount. Program is valid for Oregon Renewable or Wheelchair Disabled Person Parking Permits (temporary permits are not accepted).
Place the pass on the inside of the front windshield, on the driver's side, in the lower corner. Pass must be affixed using the adhesive on the pass itself to be valid. Affixed passes are non-transferable and are invalid if they are laminated, taped, or altered in any way.
*If you sell your vehicle or have to replace the vehicle's windshield due to damage; peel the pass off the windshield as best as possible and bring it to the Parks Office for a free replacement pass.
Hang pass from rearview mirror or place on driver's side dashboard with picture facing outward. Transferable passes may be moved from vehicle to vehicle, but is only valid in the vehicle in which it is currently displayed.
PARKING PASSES THAT ARE LOST OR STOLEN WILL NOT BE REPLACED
All revenue collected from day-use pass sales is used to maintain, operate and improve your county parks and boat ramps. Josephine County Parks is a self-funded program and does not receive any funding from the county general tax fund.
